About Wiley & Chew Fu
You will find many singers in the world who have an influence on the music scene. However when you put a renowned Grime artist and a music producer and remixer together, then you have an entirely new musical talent to appreciate. While Wiley is considered as the Godfather or King of Grime his new venture with Chew Fu has given rise to a new musical tone both to his and to Chew Fu’s work.
In October of 2009 Wiley & Chew Fu began collaborating on a new single after Wiley signed onto the record label Island Records. The name of their collaborated song is “Take That”. It was inspired by the fact that the famous group – Take That – were themselves recording in a nearby aircraft hangar. The rest is history when Wiley came up with the name of their single.
While Wiley is a British born Grime singer, Chew Fu is a Brooklyn/New York based producer and re-mixer. This is their first collaborative effort and fans should be pleased at the results of this partnership.
