About Take That
Take That is a pop group consisting of five vocal singers Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams. Gary Barlow is the lead singer and main songwriter of this five-piece band. However, Robbie Williams left the group in 1995. The entire group finally split in 1996, after the remaining four members released their last single and returned from their world tour. The four members officially reunited again in 2006 with their UK tour called The Ultimate Tour. Robbie Williams also rejoined the band in 2010.
Take That has so many hit singles and several albums to its credit. The group has given more than 40 singles and seven albums until today out of which several singles have achieved number 1 position on various top singles charts.
Take That gathered huge popularity among the music lovers during the 1990s with their amazing pop tunes. Their soulful ballads and dance numbers were loved by people and they nearly ruled the UK charts for several years. They have won several BRIT Awards. They have two of the decade’s best selling albums to their credit, namely Everything Changes and Greatest Hits.
After the four members of the band reunited in 2005, they attempted to present something new to their fans. In 2006, the reunited four-piece band released their new album title Beautiful World. The group released yet another album The Circus. After rejoining of Williams in 2010, Take That released their hit album “Progress”. The album achieved the feat of being the fastest selling album of the year 2010.
