About Sidney Samson
Sidney Samson, born October 2, 1981, is a Dutch dance musician and DJ, whose debut single "Riverside" has reached #2 on the UK Singles Chart. Starting at the age of 14, he honed his DJ skills with a serious emphasis on house music and hip-hop. Over time, he became the DJ at the Matrixx, a prominent Dutch nightclub, and eventually released the singles "It's All Funked Up," and "Bring That Beat Back" on various independent record labels.
For an artist young in his career, Samson has gained a degree of notoriety in the Irish media. He took DJ Tom Hagan, who reportedly sold a story to an Irish newspaper claiming that Samson had an affair. Samson sued Hagan, while adamantly denying these claims. The case is still pending. This hasn't stopped Samson's pursuit of success in the music world. He released his second single, "Let's Go," which has become a minor success in his native Holland.
