About Iyaz
Iyaz is the stage name of Keidran Jones, a native of the British Virgin Islands. His single "Replay" has hit #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, and his debut album, My Life, is set for release sometime in March 2010. His second single, "Solo," was released in February.
Born in 1987, he was brought up in a musical family on the British Virgin Islands. While in college, he studied digital recording and started making his own music. In 2008, noted hip-hop producer Sean Kingston discovered Iyaz through his MySpace page, and the two began collaborating. Kingston introduced the young Iyaz to producer J.R. Totem. He released his debut single "Replay" in July 2009, and since then, his popularity has ascended. In Britain, he was the first artist in 2010 to have a single surpass 300,000 in sales.
