About Flo Rida
Flo Rida (Birth Name: Tramar Dillard), an American singer and rapper was born at 17 September 1979 in Carol city, Florida, USA. When he was in 9th class, he formed his first musical group called Groundhoggz with some of his college friends. The initial days of his musical career were really struggling and he was rejected from various music labels. He also had to look for some other job outside the music industry because of this. He holds a graduation degree in international business from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and also attended Barry University.
Florida got his first national recognition for his album “Low” in 2007 and never looked back thereafter. His next successful album was T-pain. Florida also holds the record of most digital record sales in just a single week – Right Round 636,000.
He produced various pop music albums, raps and mix tapes including his most popular one We the Best in 2006. Flo Rida made his solo appearance in the music album called Mail on Sunday, which was a tremendous hit in USA in the early months of 2008. Some of his other popular albums are R.O.O.T.S., Right Round, In the Ayer and Elevator. Florida also worked with a number of popular artists like Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, T-pain and Trina. He holds a number of prestigious awards such as BET Hip Hop Awards, American Music Awards, BET Awards, Grammy Awards, People's Choice Awards and Ozone Awards and MTV video music awards nomination.
