This American rock band was formed by Mark Oliver Everett who is better known by his stage name E. The career of Eels began in 1995 with the formation of band members E, Jonathan “Butch” Norton and Tommy Walters choosing to release their new songs under the name of Eels. Their debut album Beautiful Freak was released in 1996.
